About the Club

The St. Louis QRP Society has been in existence since 1987. The success of the club is due in no small part to an emphasis on having fun. Meetings consist primarily of members taking turns in “show-and-tell” format. Some meetings feature volunteer speakers — both members and visitors. We have a Tailgate Sale meeting in July, and a Builder’s Contest in February. During warmer weather, impromptu operating has been known to break out in the parking lot after meetings.

From the start, the club has been structured to be for local members. Our newsletter, The Peanut Whistle, is therefore of most interest only to the local membership, and therefore is not posted publicly.

We hope that if you live in the St. Louis metro area you’ll come and pay us a visit!
