The St. Louis QRP Society has been in existence since 1987. The success of the club is due in no small part to an emphasis on having fun. Meetings consist primarily of members taking turns in “show-and-tell” format. Some meetings feature volunteer speakers — both members and visitors. We have a Tailgate Sale meeting in September, and a Builder’s Contest in April. During warmer weather, impromptu operating has been known to break out in the parking lot after meetings.
From the start, the club has been structured to be for local members. Our newsletter, The Peanut Whistle, is of most interest only to the local membership, and therefore is not posted publicly.
If you live in the St. Louis metro area — if you are within driving distance of our monthly meetings — we’d love to have you as a member. Plan to pay us a visit at an upcoming meeting!
